Vegas, baby?

No, the answer is no. No Vegas trip for me this year, as my current hot streak that had been ridden all week came to an abrupt end at Sunday's WSOP Qualifier. Prior to softball in the AM, there were approx. 220 people enrolled in the tourney. No problem I'm thinking, I've placed within the top 10 in 180 person tournament's, what's an extra 40? How about an extra 290! By the time the first cards were dealt, I started with the big blind also, >:- , there were 507 people enlisted in this tournament. What a fuckin joke that was...They ran a 27 dollar tournament that ended about 2 minutes before the tournament started---letting 34 noobs into the fuckin thing.

I took a bad beat, and a below average chip stack into the first break, and tried to clear my head by throwing some darts. Obviously that didn't help very much, as I was eliminated after 2 spins around the table after the break. Finished in 381st place, what a fuckin joke.

Headed back down to el gato after the beat, and treated myself to a tubo or 7. Caught a ride home with Buzz, and we both decided to try our luck online--him at pokerroom and I at my site. Apparently my bad luck had just begun, as I continued to tilt into the wee hours of the morning, pissing away basically the rest of my bank roll on a seven card stud table. Although, I was rather hammered I could have been playing Indian Poker and just was seeing 7 cards.

I thank all the AUGgies out there that supported me last week, and look to make an appearance at the Sunday Millions Tournament (215+30) in the near future, while I still am jobless. I highly doubt my employer would take the excuse of "up til an ungodly hour of the night playing online poker" and I'd really like to keep the next job that I get.

Also, in my next post I will be weighing in on the hot topic of a bill being possibly passed outlawing online poker. I have to gather some more information but at the initial reading, it doesn't look good for this fella. Cheers.
